Direct sunlight on your tattoo and sweat may cause early pigment fading or displacement, impacting the appearance of your hairline. Do not shampoo or shave your head for the same period. Chlorinated pools and saunas should be avoided for up to 28 days to protect your treatment from bacteria and moisture. 

When it is safe to use products on your tattoo, utilize scalp-friendly shampoo, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Scent-free shampoos that do not contain sulfates help you avoid skin irritation. Regularly moisturizing your scalp and applying sunscreen helps your hairline tattoo last. Ask your SMP artist for lotion and sunscreen recommendations during your consultation.
